Why People Do Bad Things

Special Agent (SA) Robert J. Ambrosini has been employed by the FBI for over 18 years and has worked a wide variety of cases to include violent crimes, white collar investigations and foreign counter intelligence. SA Ambrosini has served in the New York Field Division, FBI Headquarters, and is currently assigned to the Pittsburgh Field Division. SA Ambrosini is a certified polygraph examiner for the Pittsburgh Division and has conducted over 2,000 examinations. SA Ambrosini is also a subject matter expert for the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Program and actively assists in intelligence related investigations. This experience has afforded him extensive working knowledge in interview and interrogation tactics and the art of detection of deception. SA Ambrosini has spoken to a number of law enforcement agencies and private organizations regarding interviewing and active listening skills.
